Mobilny USOS (Mobile USOS)
Mobilny USOS (Mobile USOS) is a mobile application for the USOS study information system, developed by the University of Warsaw, with financing provided by the European Union. Mobilny USOS (Mobile USOS) was the service E3 (services being numbered E1 through E10) in the project.
Project: eUW - Development of e-services of the University of Warsaw connected to Education. Action 2.1 E-Services, Subaction 2.1.1 E-Services for Mazowia. Project Type: The application of ICT in the processes related to education and the schools of higher education. Regional Operation Program for Mazowian Voivodeship. Contract Number RPMA.02.01.01-14-6666/16-00.
An excerpt from the detailed provisions of the EU project:
"During the project, the system will be provided to other universities as open source together with technical support. After the project, the universities will be allowed to use the application version developed during the project, without the tech support, or join the Intrauniversity Center For Informatization (MUCI) and receive access to updates and technical support as included in the membership fee. MUCI is a non-profit organization (...). The University of Warsaw is one of the founding members of MUCI." (Section 6, page 148).
Requirements
The following requirements have to be met:
- The copyright notice for EU financing and the University of Warsaw must be presented to the users in the App.
- The name of the App, Mobilny USOS (Mobile USOS), must be kept, with the abbreviated name of a HEI added at the end.
- The original color scheme in the App must be preserved.
- It is recommended to use in the Google Play Store the original icon, optionally adding HEI's abbreviation at the bottom.
- The identity of the App as Mobilny USOS (Mobile USOS) must not be disguised and has to remain obvious in all related promotional materials of a HEI.
